Apple TV (tvOS) Privacy Policy – Measure & Quote Flooring

1. Who We Are

E.K.I. Tools, LLC ("E.K.I. Tools, LLC," "we," "us," "our") provides the Measure & Quote Flooring app for Apple TV (tvOS) (the "App").

2. Scope

This policy applies to the tvOS version of Measure & Quote Flooring. If you use the iPhone/iPad version, permissions and data sources may differ.

3. No Account System / No E.K.I. Tools, LLC Server

The App does not require you to create an account. E.K.I. Tools, LLC does not operate a backend server for storing your projects/rooms. Most app data is stored locally on your device and/or synced via Apple services you choose to enable.

4. Information the App May Collect or Process

4.1 Data You Enter or Sync

The App may store or display:

• Project and customer information you enter (e.g., customer name, address, phone number, email, notes).
• Measurements and room/project details (e.g., room measurements, drawings/sketches, calculations, costs).
• Materials data you enter (e.g., product details, pricing, specifications).
• Branding data you enter (e.g., company/contact details and optional logo).

4.2 Subscription and Purchase Information

If you subscribe (Beginner/Professional), purchases are processed by Apple using StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide the App with limited information needed to determine whether your subscription is active.

4.3 Device Identifiers / Tracking

The App is not designed to track you across apps and websites for advertising, and it does not include third‑party advertising SDKs.

4.4 Apple TV Permissions

Apple TV devices typically do not provide the same permissions and sensors as iPhone/iPad (e.g., GPS-style location, photo library picker). If future versions add new permissions or data uses, we will update this policy.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide the App's core features (measurements, calculations, saved rooms/projects/materials, exports).
• Sync your data across your devices when you enable Apple iCloud sync.
• Enable subscription-based features by verifying entitlements through Apple (StoreKit).
• Provide support and respond to inquiries you send to our support or controller email addresses.

6. Where Data Is Stored

6.1 On-Device Storage

App data may be stored locally on your Apple TV device.

6.2 iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync, your App data may be stored and synced using Apple iCloud services and may be available on other devices signed into your Apple ID with iCloud enabled for the App.

7. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may disclose information only in these limited cases:

• Apple (e.g., StoreKit for subscriptions; iCloud if enabled by you).
• Service providers you choose when you export/share data using third‑party apps (their privacy policies apply).
• Legal if required to comply with law or respond to lawful requests.

8. Data Retention

Because the App is primarily on-device and/or iCloud-based, retention is generally controlled by your device storage, your iCloud settings, and the in-app delete/archive actions you take.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to help protect information. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" above when changes are posted.
