iOS/iPadOS User Privacy Choices – Measure & Quote Flooring
Effective date: February 25, 2026
No account system / no E.K.I. Tools, LLC server: The App does not require an account, and E.K.I. Tools, LLC does not operate a backend server for storing your projects/rooms. Most data is stored on-device and/or synced via Apple iCloud if you enable it.
1) Subscription Choices
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple's subscription management tools.
- If the App includes a Manage Subscription button, it opens Apple's subscription management screen.
2) iCloud Sync (Optional)
- If you enable iCloud sync, your App data may sync using Apple iCloud services.
- You can turn iCloud sync off in the App (if available) and/or manage iCloud settings through Apple device settings.
3) Location (Optional, Precise Location)
If you enable location features, the App may store latitude/longitude with a saved room or project and use it to label the job site and open driving directions. You control whether the App can use location and whether it can use Precise Location.
- iOS/iPadOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Measure & Quote Flooring
- From there you can choose:
- Never, Ask Next Time Or When I Share, or While Using the App
- Precise Location: On/Off
4) Sharing / Exporting
- The App may let you export PDFs or share "copies" of rooms/projects. You control what is shared and where it is sent.
- If you share via email, messaging, AirDrop, or cloud storage apps, those third-party services' privacy practices apply.
5) Deleting Your Data
- You can delete or archive items within the App using in-app controls.
- To remove locally stored data from a device, you can also delete the App.
- If iCloud sync is enabled, data may remain in iCloud according to Apple's iCloud behavior/settings until removed or overwritten through Apple's services.
6) "Data Not Collected" (for Clarity)
The App is not designed to collect the following for E.K.I. Tools, LLC' own purposes:
- Tracking: no tracking across apps and websites; no IDFA usage.
- Third-party analytics SDKs: none included.
- Advertising data: no in-app ads.
- Contacts: no contacts access.
- Health/Fitness: no health data access.
- Camera/Microphone: no camera or microphone access.
- Payment card details: Apple processes payments; E.K.I. Tools, LLC does not receive full card details.
