Privacy Policy – Measure & Quote Flooring

This Privacy Policy explains how E.K.I. Tools, LLC ("we," "us," "our") handles information when you use the Measure & Quote Flooring mobile application (the "App").

Key Points

• No account system / no E.K.I. Tools, LLC server: The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not operate a backend server for storing your projects/rooms.
• On-device first: Your project, room, and material data is stored locally on your device.
• Optional Apple services: If you enable iCloud sync, your data may be stored/synced via Apple iCloud.
• Optional location: If you allow it, the App may store approximate coordinates (latitude/longitude) with a saved room or project to help label location.
• Subscriptions: Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card information.
• No selling: We do not sell your personal information.

Information You Provide in the App

The App lets you create and store information such as:

• Project and customer details (for example: customer name, address, phone number, email, notes).
• Room measurements, drawings/sketches, calculations, and related room/project metadata.
• Materials (brand/model/specs/cost fields) that you enter.
• Branding settings you choose to add (for example: company name/contact info and an optional logo you select from your device's photo library).
• Optional external links you enter (for example: a product image URL for a material). If you enter an image URL, the App may load that image over the internet to display it.

Information Collected from Device Features (Optional)

Location Information

If you choose to use features that attach a location to a saved room or project, the App may request location permission. If granted, the App may store approximate coordinates (latitude/longitude) with that item.

The App may also use Apple geocoding services to display location-friendly labels (such as "City, State") or to resolve an address to coordinates. These geocoding requests are processed by Apple's services.

You can disable location access at any time in iOS Settings.

Photos / Photo Library

If

you choose to add a branding logo, the App may request permission to access your photo library so you can pick an image. The App uses the image you choose for your branding settings in the App.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide the App's core functionality (measurements, calculations, projects, saved rooms, materials, and export/share features).
• Support optional features you enable (such as iCloud sync and attaching a location to items).
• Enable subscription-based features by checking subscription entitlements through Apple (StoreKit).

Where Your Data Is Stored

On-Device Storage

The App stores most information locally on your device. If you remove the App, local data may be deleted with it.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync in the App, the App may store and sync app data using Apple iCloud services. When iCloud sync is enabled, your data may become available to other devices signed into your Apple ID with iCloud enabled for the App.

Sharing and Exporting

The App may let you export or share information (such as PDFs or "share packages" used to import into the App on another device). You control what you share and where you send it. If you share using third-party apps or services (mail, messaging, cloud drives), those services' privacy practices apply.

Subscriptions, Purchases, and Restores

The App offers subscriptions (for example, Beginner and Professional). Purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment card number or billing details. Apple may provide us limited information needed to enable features (for example, whether your subscription is active).

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple's subscription management tools.

Third-Party Services

Depending on what you use, the App may interact with third-party services such as:

• Apple App Store / StoreKit (subscriptions and purchase verification)
• Apple iCloud (if you enable iCloud sync)
• Apple Maps (if you open directions)
• Apple geocoding (converting coordinates to a label or an address to coordinates)
• Websites you choose (if you tap external links or enter image URLs)

Data Retention

The App may retain items you archive or "soft delete" within the App for a period of time before permanently removing them. Retention behavior may vary by feature and settings.

Do We Sell or Share Personal Information?

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security

We take reasonable steps to help protect information within the App. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" above when changes are posted.
